The Pupil Council is a group of children representing all ages in school. Each class or year group has two representatives and these are elected within the class. Children in KS2 prepare presentations to put themselves forward for election and a democratic process is used.
The Head Boy and Head Girl are elected from Year 6, with deputies, using a similar process, this time with the whole school able to vote. These children are responsible for leading the pupil council, which has responsibility to manage various initiatives during the year and to communicate them to other children and to families.
