I think you’re doing a great job. I check her book every night, even if nothing significant has happened in the day it gives me a starting block for conversation topic with her. it is important for me to keep in touch with her progress. 

Phonics and maths are delivered in an easy to understand way that my child can recall at home. Staff are accommodating, polite and accessible. Having Mrs Tomlinson greet pupils morning and evening sets a very good tone on how the school operates and leads by example and staff are personable – they know parents by name. 

We love the community at Grendon school, our son is always greeted at the gates by children from all years and when we see children out of school they are always friendly and happy to see one another. We’d like to see forest school back as part of the school day, but understand there are staffing / training issues at the moment. Any concerns we’ve had have always been met openly and have been addressed immediately. We really appreciated the vision event, it was great to see parents engagement and our son was very keen to have his say too! Having S4A available for wrap around care and holiday clubs is fantastic!

A friendly and welcoming atmosphere for both students and parents alike. A good range of subjects and support and the parent involvement is really good too.
